TENANT TOOLKIT
The Utah Housing Coalition’s Tenant Toolkit is a practical, easy-to-use guide designed to help renters understand their rights, responsibilities, and options. For over 15 years, it has been used by tenants, case managers, community partners, and educators across the state to support safe, stable housing.
Inside, tenants will find information on how to be a successful renter, what to look for in a lease, how to navigate move-in and move-out, and where to turn for help when issues arise. The Toolkit also highlights local and statewide resources so tenants know they’re not alone. We print thousands of copies each year in both English and Spanish, offer Tenant Toolkit classes by request, and provide companion videos to make the information even more accessible.
