ADVOCACY

Advocacy is at the heart of our work at the Utah Housing Coalition. We champion affordable housing at the local, state, and federal levels, and invite partners like you to join us in this mission. During the legislative session, we host our weekly Family Investment Coalition meetings every Wednesday, bringing advocates together to coordinate efforts and share updates.

Throughout the year, we travel to Washington, D.C. one to two times to meet with federal partners, collaborate with local governments, attend statewide events, and create opportunities for public officials to engage deeply with affordable housing and homelessness issues.

We also publish an annual state bill tracker, share regular statewide and federal policy updates through our newsletter, and host an Annual Housing Day on the Hill—a powerful day of education, storytelling, and action for housing stability in Utah.
